Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) is an integral part of project management cycle specifically intended to provide feedback on how the implementation of a program/project is progressing. This feedback system aims at detecting problems, and reviewing appropriate activities to improve project performance. It identifies areas where the programme can be managed differently to ensure quality of the process of project management and the results.
